How is cold plasma created or how is it produced?<\/strong> Unlike hot plasma - such as the sun, lightning or auroras - cold plasma operates at normal room temperature<\/strong>, raising the question of how this is possible when plasma is the hottest known state of substance.\r\n\r\nCold plasma<\/strong> is created when just enough energy is added to a gas (e.g. normal room air) so that only a few of its particles are ionized<\/strong>, in contrast to the disorder and thermal activity of hot plasmas, where all particles are ionized.\r\n\r\nThis cold plasma particle mixture<\/strong> - we call it a \u201cplasma cocktail<\/strong>\u201d - is very active against microorganisms<\/strong>, among other things, and can therefore be used in water treatment, the food industry, but also in medicine and cosmetics.<\/span><\/pre>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
