Terraplasma celebrates its 10th birthday
On the occasion of terraplasma’s 10th anniversary, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all our employees, customers and cooperation partners for the successful past years – and we look forward to the challenges we will face together in the future.
Change in the management of terraplasma
As of 1 May 2021, there are personnel changes in the management of terraplasma. After 10 years of managing and founding the company, Prof. Dr. Dr. Gregor Morfill is stepping down as Managing Director of terraplasma GmbH. He will now pursue his activities in the company as Chief Scientific Officer.
Patent granted in China
After being granted by the United States Patent Office on 05.11.2019 (US 10,470,285 B2), our terraplasma patent application for “Electrode Assembly and Plasma Source for Generating a Non-Thermal plasma and Method for Operating a Plasma Source “has now also been granted a patent in China (ZL 2016800431550).
Funding for development project
We are very pleased that our in-house development “Little Plasma” for disinfecting everyday utility items (such as FFP2 masks, car or door keys, glasses, mobile phones, etc.) using cold atmospheric plasma is now being funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs’ “Bayern Innovativ” (Baytp) programme for research, development and innovation.
Terraplasma is relocating
In December 2019, we will be moving to our new office in the Business Campus Garching.
